You will love this

LIFE’S Package

Today you call me peaceful… With me you feel so cheerful…. But this hair you see today… Could lose color sometimes. This dimple will shrink one day, As nimble as it may. So shall this smile, Not last for a long while. This beautiful face that stole your heart, This calmness in our daily chat. When life decides to take all away, Will you boldly dare to still stay? This kind man you so revere, Whose gifts keep you near. One day life can steal his car, Leaving him with just an attire. When the kindness has finished, And the night drives diminish. When life takes away my packaging, Say you will still be with me. When anger comes from the unknown, As age is dipping my curvy hipbone, When my height bends my back, And without support, I am stack. Will you be there? Will you still be here? Will you stay with me? <amp-auto-ads type="adsense"         data-ad-client="ca-pub-2214510780832889"> </amp-auto-ads>

The GENESIS

The antithesis of saying goodbye Is the Genesis of embracing goodness. The latter is welcomed in finesse, But the former is hard to witness. A mother’s heartbeat of oxymoron, Contrasting her grandchild’s nephron. All aimed for the same good result.  Such is life; like sugar and salt. A wife’s long awaited embrace, A husband’s lonely footsteps on foreign terrace. When the saying “I miss you” Now sounds fainter than hue. A gap is about to be bridged, Yet other bonds are rigged. A time to miss an uncle, Like a pain in one’s ankle. Grandma had urge to cry, But tears so short and dry. Kids yearn for time to run fast, Adults share memories for the last. Just like a dream but we saw it all, Entering terminals big and small. As if just going for a stroll, Until the pilot took control. Yes, God took the wheel, And now the dream is real. A family reunited together,  By faith and none other.

UnWILLING to Wail

To them all who fail to fall, The frail who don’t wail, Who smile to sad e-mails, Just because they’re males. I know a man who loves One that eats with gloves Starving just to feed his own Yes, everyone at home he owes. I know a strong man! Not for his muscles and biceps But for always saying “I can” Without knowing the precepts. Everyone looks up to him But when he looks up Even the lights onto him dim And doors begin to shut. I know this boy now old; Doing just as he was told “Men don’t cry so be bold” He swallowed his pains And bound all emotions chains. He must in sadness give out bliss? In darkness must he illuminate In drought he was the waterfall  When the rains came, he was last to drink. He sleeps at dawn and awakens same Goes insane to make his family sane He must be frugal and yet extravagant  In all, he dares not say I can’t.  No body cares he gets the courage. Yet if death defeats him in marriage, They awake early in the morning  Not for lack of sleep du...

DREAMSCAPE

An experience of a walking life; Or thoughts of the day in motion at night, Flowing peacefully in spirit like a kite. Awaiting an Estimated Time of Arrival, In your heart’s own built terminal. You woke up from the thunderous snore, Just to realize you were in a slumber. But you vividly remember; The realities you did encounter, And how beautiful it was that you saw. So you shared your story in the morning, While you were still yawning. Yes you shared; With people of like-mindedness. And boom! you are a hit; A one time wander, Now a lifetime wonder, With whom everyone wants to sit, But your dreams, don’t let them plunder. You are now a champion, So go ahead my companion. Go ahead with that plan; Store as many as you can, If it can’t be frozen, just get it canned.

The EID of men

I was born in a Madina community,  Where needs were not priority but just wants, Yet those who had to help said they can’t. And that gave me the zeal to help humanity, Not for their lack of man's basic need, But for the luck that I now have people to feed. Seldom did I take part in Islamic activities, For the idea of the zongo hostilities. Yet, As long as I grew with their husbands, I realized not all sad news is created by their hands. It's only a notion that each child is assumed to have played in the sands. With my encounter with the second Sheikh of the land, Islam in focus was what thought me the goodness in Islam's demand. The rhetoric is this iota of truth in each religion, That there is a "Mensah" in each tradition. I played with Abdul after my Sunday school, And ate with Aisha each break at school. Sometimes Sheikh himself took us out to the pool, Don't fight was his only golden rule. Amelia would bring my mum a basket of food, I cannot forget the sym...

Thank you for coming into my life Thank you for being my wife Thank you for not giving me strife But rather being my hive  God bless you for the peace in our marriage  God bless your womb and her fruit  You’ve lived with me in truth  And since I have not the voice, I’ll sing for you with flute.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BELOVED

CHRISTMAS EVE

As though eve sounds like a name, Let’s dive deeper into her aim. Because, once upon a time in Eden, This same name was a mention. Days, weeks and months may pass, And once a lad meets a lass, He calls her to be his. Especially if she’s still a miss. She may agree with a kiss, Or sometimes with a cunning hiss… Saying, “I’ll think about it” If you hear her say this, Then boy, she deems you fit.  Here comes your Eve: Not that regular girl… Who takes no for an answer, Nor accepting anything meager. Eve sees you as her sponsor, Her onetime companion. She trust to rest on your shoulder, And you dare not avoid her opinion. So take note of her anniversaries, As she jealously fight your adversaries. She expects you to sacrifice your anger, Even if she’s wrong, give her a pamper. Spoiling her with gifts and roses, As if life is all but rosy.
